For Contractors

They need a contractor to move the project forward

How it works

  1. 1

    A homeowner screens possible resources

They browse city-organized records and possible matches. Only an administrator can confirm eligibility or funding.

  2. 2

    They request contractor contact

They submit project details with contractor sharing already checked and can uncheck it for program information only. The request does not mean an application was filed or approved.

  3. 3

    Matching contractors get a teaser

Every offer contains structured city, trade, and program-screening context while the homeowner's name, email, address, and free-text description stay locked. A free credit changes the price to $0; it does not bypass explicit acceptance.

  4. 4

    You explicitly accept any offer

Sign in and accept a free-credit or paid offer to unlock contact details. Paid access unlocks only after the displayed one-time charge finalizes. Ignore any offer at no charge.

Why these leads are different

What a contact-free lead teaser includes

Claim your listing

Claiming your listing is free. Search for your business, then verify control of an on-file business email or phone. Possession proof does not establish ownership, licensing, insurance, quality, or endorsement. A verified claim activates your listing so it can receive contact-free project offers; the Grant-Approved badge still requires separate manual review, and we can suspend or remove a listing at any time.

No card is required to claim. Your first accepted compatible lead can use a free credit after you sign in and confirm. If you later accept a paid lead, Stripe securely collects a card and finalizes the displayed charge before showing the homeowner's contact.

Your account email, phone, raw license number, insurance document, and billing details remain private; only approved display fields appear publicly. A homeowner's name, email, address, and free-text project description remain private until an authorized acceptance, and we do not sell your contractor account information.

Honest answers

Why is my business already listed?
We build unclaimed listings from public licensing records and open business data so homeowners searching their city can find a contractor. An unclaimed listing never carries our Grant-Approved badge and never receives a homeowner's contact details. Grant-Approved is The Grant Map's own label after a separate review, not a government endorsement. Claim your listing to take control, free.
What if a lead is junk?
If an accepted lead has invalid contact information, is a duplicate, or is outside your service area, report it within 7 days. The report is eligible for review, not automatic approval; an approved report may receive a refund or lead credit under our policy.
Do you take a cut of the job?
No. We never touch the job value, the grant funds, or your invoice. You pay only for a lead you choose to accept, and the price is set per lead by the trade and the size of the work, not by what you eventually charge. Shared leads run about $25 to $90 and exclusive leads about $60 to $225, and you always see the exact price before you accept. That is the whole deal.
Can I pause?
Yes. There is no subscription and nothing recurring. Ignore the teaser emails and you pay nothing. Start accepting again whenever you want. Nothing to cancel.
How do service areas work?
You set the cities and trades you cover. We only send you teasers for homeowners whose project and possible funding programs match your area and trade, so you are not paying to look at jobs you would never take.
